Difference between Connections and Platform Connections

They both are somewhat related to each other but there's an important difference between the views. Below we'll explain what the difference is:  

• Connections
  • Found via main menu
  • This is where you give Adcredo access to a platform by logging in with your credentials 
  • The credentials are the same ones as you use when logging in directly to the platforms 
    
    
• Platform Connections
  • Found under Brand settings (access by clicking into a brand)
  • Platform connection also shows up during New brand creation process
  • This is where you link a specific Ad account or analytics account etc. from a specific platform to a Brand in Adcredo

• • By connecting the accounts to a brand we know exactly what accounts that we should reference whenever you are working with a certain Brand in Adcredo, allowing you to get full control across channels
  • Important is that you first have logged in under "Connections" first because otherwise you won't be able to connect accounts to a brand
