How does Budget management in the Order work?

The Budget management tab controls how Order-level budgets are tracked and optionally enforced across campaigns and channels.

Key elements:

  • Budget target – The total target budget for the Order.

  • Cycle type:

    • Calendar month – Cycle follows calendar months.

    • Custom cycle – Cycle starts from the Order start date and can be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 months.

      • Example: If a cycle is custom for 2 months, the order budget will pace the budget over 2 months.

  • Cycle behaviour:

    • Cycles repeat automatically.

    • If you set an Order end date, the Order will pause at that date.

  • Platform budget split:

    • You can divide the Order budget between channels by:

      • Percent (right-side fields).

      • Fixed amounts (left-side fields).

  • Automated budget control:

    • If enabled, Adcredo can:

      • Adjust daily budgets up/down.

      • Cap spend to reduce the risk of overspending.

    • If disabled, the target and cycles are used only for tracking (no automatic actions).

  • Rollover:

    • If enabled, unspent budget from a cycle is added to the next cycle’s budget.

Good when spend is delayed and you still want to consume the total planned budget.
