How does Budget management in the Order work?
The Budget management tab controls how Order-level budgets are tracked and optionally enforced across campaigns and channels.
Key elements:
- Budget target – The total target budget for the Order.
- Cycle type:
- Calendar month – Cycle follows calendar months.
- Custom cycle – Cycle starts from the Order start date and can be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 months.
- Example: If a cycle is custom for 2 months, the order budget will pace the budget over 2 months.
- Example: If a cycle is custom for 2 months, the order budget will pace the budget over 2 months.
- Calendar month – Cycle follows calendar months.
- Cycle behaviour:
- Cycles repeat automatically.
- If you set an Order end date, the Order will pause at that date.
- Cycles repeat automatically.
- Platform budget split:
- You can divide the Order budget between channels by:
- Percent (right-side fields).
- Fixed amounts (left-side fields).

- Automated budget control:
- If enabled, Adcredo can:
- Adjust daily budgets up/down.
- Cap spend to reduce the risk of overspending.

- If disabled, the target and cycles are used only for tracking (no automatic actions).

- Rollover:
- If enabled, unspent budget from a cycle is added to the next cycle’s budget.
